Bringing the Outside In
By: Krysteen Lomonaco ~ 9/18/2014

It’s summer time and Mehndi Madness loves being outdoors! Apart from being outside for the festivals where we do henna and jauga tattoos all summer long, we love hiking, swimming, and soaking up the sun. How can you combine the things you love to do outdoors with henna or jagua? Simple, draw symbols of nature on ourselves! This can be any representation you choose. There are physical representations like a tree, sun, or animal.  You can also choose to get elemental signs or constellations. The Pacific Northwest is a great place for hiking, kayaking and many more activities. Getting a symbol to represents one of your favorite hikes will remind you of the fresh air, cool breeze, and rewarding view at the top. If you love flying kites at Gasworks or feeding the birds at Green Lake Park, get a design that will remind you of your feathered friends! Mehndi Madness has a great stock of designs that may say exactly what you’re looking for.  However, if you have a design in mind, let us know, we’re happy to help. A great place to look would be our pintrest page.

Having a symbol to remind you of great Mother Earth, will bring the outside into your home, office and everywhere you go! This can also be a reminder to stop and smell the roses once in a while.
