Mehndi Madness offers Belly Casting and wants to help you celebrate your pregnancy!
You are busy focusing on the amazing changes going on inside and it can be easy to forget that the outside is beatiful too! A belly casting gives you a piece of memory that not even pictures can capture.
Sometimes all the modern advances that make being pregnant easier can seem to overwhelm your prenancy itself! Belly Casting and Henna are lovely, creative and ancient ways to give you a chance to focus on, and later remember, this very special time.
"I helped a friend make a bellymask several years ago. Boy, do I wish we had your directions then! They would have saved us a lot of frustration and time. The bellymask I recently made using your kit came out much nicer, stronger and with your written guidance, we easily included the hands and arms. It is sooooo beautiful! Thank You!" -- Jolene, from Maryland

I love the look of the bellymasks with the mother's arms wrapped around her belly embracing her baby. Is there enough plaster in the kit to do this?
Absolutely! We include enough rolls to give you the choice of the type of bellymask you can create. Other kits have less amounts of plaster of Paris. This could lead to a very thin and unstable bellymask or a partially finished bellymask.
I've read some directions in a book. Can't I just follow those?
Belly Casting Creatins directions are detailed, easy to follow and include 16 photographs highlighting steps such as how to include the hands and fingers, reinforcing and hanging the bellymask and information regarding protecting and decorating the bellymask. We have included these detailed instructions because of phone calls received from people who tried to follow other directions unsuccessfully. Here's what one customer said:
I want to send the do-it-yourself directions to a friend, but don't want to pay postage twice. Will you send it to her?
Of course! Simply include your friend's name and address on the order form. If you would like the directions and supply list gift wrapped, we will do that at no extra charge.
Can the cast be decorated?
Decorated casts can be hung as art in living room or in the nursery. Here are just a few ideas for creating art with your casting.
Paint fun clothing on it, such as a bustier or an itsy bitsy tiny weenie yellow polka dot bikini!
Create a collage with family photos, art work and letters for the baby.
Decorate with a celestial theme, including stars, planets, astrological charts or the heavens.
Using bold, geometric shapes and images in black and white or primary colors create a perfect focal point for babies early stimulation.
Have guests at your baby shower help you decorate your casting.
